About

Koda Design sprang from the experiences of David Koelsch, whose varied background enables him to provide a wide range of services to the business community. His educational background includes a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Photographic Arts, and a minor in Business Marketing. For many years he worked as a freelance photographer, photographing for numerous commercial clients and publications in and outside Oklahoma.

An opportunity arose that resulted in a change of direction and the formation of The November Group Corporation in Oklahoma City. For many years The November Group's primary focus was in providing licensing and registration services to the transportation industry, however it also maintained a multimedia design business named Outland Design for several years. With Beau Wade as lead designer, Outland was an innovator in internet marketing and design and published the ezine gaff, which reported on men's issues and product and entertainment reviews. David split his time between the two ventures, providing management to the corporation and design, copywriting, and photographic work for Outland.

The November Group principals later split, with Outland Design relocating to New York where it is currently operated by Beau. David took ownership of The November Group Corporation and is its primary shareholder, but still has ties with Outland.

As David continued working in the transportation industry, eventually earning certification as a Certified Automotive Fleet Manager, circumstances again forced a change of direction. Transportation industry clients became aware of David's visual arts and marketing experience, and began asking him to create simple but effective websites to communicate their message. This led to the creation of Koda Design, where the focus is on the message, not gee whiz visual tricks.
